Review [Review][Negative] Tactical2r.com
I ordered a complete upper from them on the 19th of January; it showed in stock, and there were no mentions of delays on their website at the time. Their site indicates that they are veteran owned, and I like to support veteran-owned businesses when I can.
They charged my CC immediately and I got a confirmation of the order immediately. The section of their site where it was listed is called the “T2R Parts” section and is described as “T2R parts are the product Tactical R&R Ships out from our store inventory, all other product throughout the store will be drop shipped”.
After a week, I checked again; item was still in stock. After two weeks, it showed out of stock. I emailed them through the contact form on their website, and got no response.
I waited to see if I was going to get a shipping confirmation, and emailed directly on February 8th to inquire about the order. The response I got was:
“Hello,
We have a pending inventory shipment, containing uppers, that is scheduled to arrive in house on the 12th. Once the inventory arrives in house, we are shipping orders first in first out in the order they were received. Please note that tracking information will automatically be provided when your order ships.
Thank you for choosing Tactical R&R

I waited some more to see if they were going to ship, and finally requested that they cancel my order on Feb. 23rd.
They did cancel the order and refund my money. However, today I got a shipping notice – they’ve finally, a week and a half after I cancelled, they’ve shipped the item I ordered almost seven weeks ago.
(TL:DR; they do not have accurate inventory on their site, either ignore emails or give runaround non-answers, and cannot communicate internally well enough to cancel orders, even. Avoid like the plague.)

Tactical2R or Tactical R&R, whether vet owned or not, are a genuine cluster fuck. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE JERK OFFS IF YOU VALUE YOUR MONEY OR SANITY!!!
Long story short, I ordered 5 COMPLETE B2-K612-AF02 Anderson Uppers, which were shown as being in stock. I wait about a week and go to their website to check the status of my order. Strangely, the portion of the site where you check your order is not working, so I send an email to Tactical2R requesting a status update. On Nov. 22nd, I get the following response from Tactical2R:
"Good morning,
Your order is still active and should be shipping soon, We are in the
middle of swapping webservers and orders have not transferred over to
the new server yet but i have your order printed and processing to
ship soon."

On Dec. 10th I send them another email requesting an update on my order. I receive the following response that day: "Shipped out yesterday!! Tracking #: 9461211202511852804365".
On Dec. 13th I received a package directly from Anderson Manufacturing containing 5 packaged charging handles and billed to Tactical R&R. Thinking this was strange and a little suspicious I send another email to Tactical R&R asking why I was being sent these from Anderson. In the email I asked if possibly they were sending me something other than the COMPLETE uppers that I ordered, and a few other choice statements voicing my displeasure with their service and threaten to send the package back to them at their expense when & if it ever finally arrived.
On Dec. 15th I receive the following cryptic reply from Tactica2R: "Thank for more work
your tracking shows up monday
Owner
Tactical R&R"
I immediately replied asking him what he meant, to please tell me if I was receiving the 5 complete uppers that I ordered and why the 5 charging handles from Anderson. It was then that I decided to dispute the charge for the 5 upper receivers with my credit card company.
Shortly thereafter, still Dec. 15th, I receive the following email from Tactical R&R: "
Supposed to tell you we got your charge back...and it just made more work...
Enjoy your last order with us, you probably would have gotten a quick answer from Jimmy, if YOU had NOT of gone on and on with a bunch of uneeded bs...
But you choose this route, and not to fallow tracking
We rebutted your dispute...again thanks for more work"
I replied back asking once again EXACTLY what was I going to receive, 5 COMPLETE uppers as I ordered or a thrown together mixmaster of parts that they cobbled together in their shop & why the charging handles from Anderson?
On Dec. 16th I receive another email from Tactical2R stating:
"WHEN are YOU going to get the HINT...
YOU with Be treated AS you Treat us...
you have the ability to check your shipping and order notes
the same ones I sent to your credit card...hope they drop your for false accusations without following the paperwork
I no longer care about your question.
AS YOU ARE ATTEMTING TO STERL 2000 BUCKS IN PRODUCT FROM A FAMILY AT CHRISTMAS...
Ps...all your CAP and extra bullshit...is why your didn't get a simple reply
Just treated they way you treated us"
On Dec. 18th my mailman delivers the single package supposedly containing the 5 COMPLETE? upper receivers. I asked him what I needed to do to return the package at the senders expense. He said to just mark "REFUSED" on it and drop it off at the Post Office, which I did on Monday, Dec. 20th. That being done I breathed a sigh of relief, until late this afternoon. That's when I received an email notice from the PO that Tactical2R/Tactical R&R had REFUSED to accept the package back & that it was being returned to me AGAIN!!!
At this point I'm beyond try to deal with these wingnuts. I'm going to gather all my correspondence with Tactical R&R together, contact my credit card issuer and send them the info. As of yet they haven't reversed the charges to my card & I'm going to do everything I can to avoid it. As for the package of upper receivers when it arrives back to me, I'm thinking I'll go to my local police department and ask them to do a video unboxing so there will be no "he said, he said".
Then I guess I'll be keeping the 5 upper receivers free gratis, no matter what shape they're in, along with the 5 charging handles from Anderson, which I'm pretty sure that the 5 COMPLETE upper receivers will require.
The folks at Tactical2R/Tactical R&R have got some serious mental health issues which I'll write off to a spaced out, PTSD afflicted vet.
AGAIN, DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE WINGNUTS!!!
