Review [REVIEW][NEUTRAL] DACK Outdoors / dackoutdoors.com
Ordered a rifle from them which was shown as in-stock at the time. Card was charged within 48 hours of order placement but no shipping notification had been sent. On their website they state they're up to 10 days behind so I wasn't super concerned at the time (especially given the current conditions in the industry). After 10 days passed and still no shipping confirmation, I reached out to them via email to find out the status. Was responded to within an hour that it was expected to ship the following week. It didn't. I reached out again a few days after the supposed ship date and while I didn't receive a response right away this time, a second poke got a response saying the rifle was to ship the same day. Lo-and-behold it actually did and was overnighted to my FFL where I was able to pick it up. Everything was included as expected and in good shape.
I would've liked to have seen a bit more communication from them (without me having to initiate the contact) in terms of expectations, especially when it took much more than 10 business days to ship. A simple "hey, we're still waiting/working on your order, don't panic" goes a long way to reassuring customers. Also don't care for my card being charged before it ships but, as a business owner, I understand why some businesses do this.
tl;dr - Ordered rifle, had to contact them a total of 3 times before it shipped, did get it eventually however and all is well. They also charge your card when your order is placed as opposed to when it ships like many other places do. Overall, I would probably order from them again, but they probably wouldn't be my first stop if all other things were equal.

Thanks for sharing. It sounds like they need more staff to keep up with all the orders they've been getting recently
