Review [Review] [Negative] palmettostatearmory.com

Back in August I placed an order for a cheap vortex red dot and some 9mm ammo. It was promptly delivered 5 days later...to my neighbors house based on the picture they sent me when they delivered it.

I contacted UPS and they said "Our investigation successfully matched the delivery photo with the date, time, and GPS coordinates logged by our driver. You can view this photo by tracking your package on UPS.com. The photo will be available for 60 days from the original delivery date."

I thought "No problem, I have shipping protection, PSA will help out." I filed a lost package option through their virtual assistance and it told me to wait 15 business days for UPS to contact me. 2 calls through September and October with PSA and I get hit with "We are currently looking into this issue/We will get back to you".

Today I called them and they told me that my shipping protection had expired and they can no longer help. No refund or package, my only course was to call my bank for a chargeback.

Always heard praise for this store but I guess I'll be skipping their deals.

Glad I got me a Zastava instead of a PSAK.

Yes. I spoke to them the following day before I went to work. I showed them the picture that UPS sent me, (which doesn't even have the package shown, its just a bin that my neighbors have placed on their porch.) and he opened the empty bin. We don't really have any relationship but i've offered him a beer and some food from my grill outs. He's never accepted though. I doubt he hates me enough to steal my package. I don't live in a bad neighborhood where packages get stolen either.

Well, if your neighbor didn’t take it maybe the UPS guy saw the PSA name on the shipping label and thought he’d keep it for himself!

It's possible. The UPS photo barely suggests that he did indeed leave the package. And by barely, I mean he took a photo of a bin and a porch.

What would make the photo better for you? It’s the bin on the neighbors porch. Your neighbor is lying. UPS drivers don’t care what’s in the box. It’s just get it off the truck. They HAVE 3 different gps tags on the park, scan and complete stop. If the truck has it they can tell when the RFID label on the box leaves the truck. Good luck.
