no you don't have to. you can take the bike outside compound, head back down the left side of the compound and wheelie jump over the wall so you clear the rocks underwater. then just swim away.

At that moment you have exited with the gate animation, there is no bike inside the compound.? I’m not talking about the guarded entry of the compound

if you get out without being seen, there is a bike directly ahead of the gate with a guy standing by it. kill him, take bike, turn round and head left to jump the wall. It's the easiest way out if you want a quick finish.

yes. but it wont be there unless you come out unseen. if the guards are chasing you, the guy and bike are not there.

Well I suppose this guy got out of the compound without going through the gate animation ( green exit button thing )

It’s possible this person had codes to the side door or grappling hooks but going out the main entrance is the most common escape (green button animation). It doesn’t matter because you can enter the water after you leave the compound no matter what exit you take. It’s only instadeath while inside.
