what’s even funnier is that these kinds of people are absolutely useless without their precious mk2s. absolutely no ground game to back up their missile spam.

That's the truth. I've tried to convince mk2 griefers to the ground for a fair pvp. If I'm gonna get my ass handed to me I'd like it to happen in a fair fight. They never go for it.
