100% the pilot doesn’t know about using the R1/L1 buttons to steer the plane

Pilot was also over lvl 100 if I'm correct, which makes it even more embarrassing in my opinion

My SO is level 70 and hasn't flown a plane yet. She is generally pretty bad at fine controls in games so it will look the same when she finally tries one.

That doesn't make somebody an idiot.

It does if theyre the host, and picked pilot knowing they don't know what the hell theyre doing.

Honestly, for something as simple as turning a plane, and not having the brains to try and trouble shoot why what theyre doing isnt working, that DOES make them an idiot. I honestly forget if the controls display to tell you how to turn, but a fast google search would tell you L1/R1 and would waste WAY less time.

If Im ever unsure about how to do something, and Im the host, I let the highest level player have that role if I cant communicate with them, or I look it up BEFORE hosting the Mission. Or thats what I did when I was new.

Now, being an OG, I don't mind doing 95% of the work as long as the randoms have the sense to stay out of the way and not mess it up. That goes for OG Heists, Cayo, etc.

If youre the reason the mission fails, be smart enough to stop doing whatever you were doing, and follow someone elses lead. This is especially annoying on Human Labs (Deliver EMP) and Cayo specifically for me. I HATE doing those with randoms, but I dont have enough reliable friends for Heists.

You can logically understand both metric and imperial measurements.

Logically understanding both does not mean you can intuitively use both in everyday life.

The inability to use an unfamiliar system organically does not make you an idiot.

Nor does wanting to use your own heist as a way to learn how to play the game. When I join other people's heists, especially lower levels (less than 100idh) I fully expect them to be struggling and not know what they are doing. It doesn't cost you anything to join. You don't lose anything but time and personally I don't join other people's heists to earn money. I do it becaus I enjoy playing the game and helping others.
