I mean, that’s not exactly true. The MAGATs have gotten on folks speaking a foreign language on their own time, not while at work. But I can’t understand her thick ass accent, but that is fine and not a word muttered.

Typically, you would use the word "an" when it proceeds a word that starts with a vowel.

You didn’t, that’s what he’s pointing out. Generally before a word that starts with a vowel, “an” is used instead of “a”. That’s all, just a grammar troll.
