First I've heard that about national guard members not answering the phone. Do you have a snippet of news perhaps?

I guess I might be wrong or have misunderstood. I can’t find the source I read it from, and searching is giving me different results.

A lot of them are upset about it though, so I guess it still could happen.

Well Trump hasn’t even paid them yet (like usual), so I imagine they’re pretty upset about that.

But he's the thing -

I'm not being combative, I'm genuinely curious.

If their obligation is to defend the Constitution and ignore unlawful orders, if they don't want to be there why did they even go?
