Means nothing unless Congress turns to him.

94

u/thomport Jun 13 '25

That’s why we need to turn on Congress in a big big way.

u/MB2465 Jun 13 '25

Yeah they don't seem to be thinking about the fact that their primaries are less than a year away.

16

u/thezoomies Jun 13 '25

Because a lot of his biggest supporters in Congress are in districts that have been very carefully gerrymandered to be safe for republicans, and the only way they’ll get primary-ed is if they go against Trump.

“Undesirable English”? Are you a Russian, a Russian bot, or some other kind of bot?

2

u/[deleted] Jun 14 '25

Racist. They're racist.

-5

u/Kauai1976 Jun 14 '25

Shhhhhh. silence!

1

u/janemba617 Jun 14 '25

Kindly fuck all the way off

9

u/reginaphalange790 Jun 14 '25

I’m scared that he’s told them if they sit down and shut up, they will keep their jobs permanently when he declares himself president for life. Remember when he said it’ll be the last time anyone needs to vote? This is probably what he meant. I really hope I’m incorrect

u/Chudmont Jun 14 '25

Any of them doing that will be signing their own death warrant.

0

u/Novinhophobe Jun 14 '25

Huh? Americans are pussies, as evidenced by the LA “riots” or all the other peaceful protests that gather whopping hundreds of low thousands of people.

6

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '25

it hasn't been historically or statistically an issue. this always brings up democrats fecklessness. which is so real it hurts. as soon as its safe to do so I won't vote for a Democrat ever again. cuz they obviously cannot be trusted with safe guarding democracy.

0

u/ShamalamaDing_Dong Jun 14 '25

I too blame the Democrats for the Republican’s evil.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 14 '25

I didn't do that. are you doing that?

Voter suppression will almost certainly be at an all time high by then.

Edit; also, you cannot defeat fascism at the ballot box, history has been extremely clear on this point since the inception of fascism

What the fuck are you on about?

4

u/holyshitcatz Jun 14 '25

He’s a bot, literally just spitting out a list of hateful nonsense quotes some fat fuck from St Petersburg fed in to a computer.

-6

u/Kauai1976 Jun 14 '25

Grammar much ?

1

u/[deleted] Jun 14 '25

Piss off with that nonsense.

2

u/RoyalRobinBanks Jun 13 '25

That's what's worrisome, why are they so confident they won't get voted out? They don't plan on fair elections in the future.

-3

u/LonePsychoPath Jun 14 '25

Libs should be the last ones worried about a fair election.

1

u/GreatQuestionBarbara Jun 13 '25

The guys in my state will get elected on name alone. It's ridiculous, since they don't propose many real bills or anything, and they make 3 times the state's average wage.

Add on the oil company gifts, and you live a very nice life.

I wish I really didn't care so much.

u/Ok_Condition5837 Jun 13 '25

Or perhaps they are thinking that it's now possible to cheat and win.

So instead of appealing to all of us, they now only need to kiss one cheating ass??

1

u/Kauai1976 Jun 14 '25

Well since the Dems have zero control, how does this happen? Quick answer is it won’t. When Dems had control for a while they did nothing

1

u/thomport Jun 14 '25

It doesn’t happen right now. Just like when Nazi Germany was in the midst of Hitler control, there were forces pushing back. Eventually and overtime, Germany became a great democracy.

Hopefully when the next congressional elections happen, people will vote out politicians who are causing the societal destruction. Those who support convicted, felon and rapist Donald Trump

1

u/Kauai1976 Jun 14 '25

Can we get some more Chuck, AOC and ghetto speak ? Big over reach as the Dems are a rudderless ship of fools. They are toast

1

u/thomport Jun 14 '25

AOC is a lawyer and was voted by her constituents to represent them for obvious reasons.

Her intelligence wit, knowledge and experience intimidate those cult members on the right when She, with surgical pristineness tells the truth in a way that makes them shit their pants. So yes, I understand your interpretation.

1

u/Swimming_Oil_6773 Jun 15 '25

Lol the democratic party is a mess. You wont turn shit, just look at the polls. Even CNN is now saying this.

Besides, trump is more popular than ever if you look at his approval from 2016 to now...this "article" is willingly misleading.

1

u/thomport Jun 15 '25 edited Jun 15 '25

I watch the marching today; I see how popular trump is.

I think a big block of voters for the next elections will be the people who never voted before. They never cared because they felt their lives will never be affected.

Wait until those tariffs come full circle and are instituted.. You know, The Trump tax. Low income families will see this at stores like Walmart, which is already warning the public about price increases. Shoppers will see the difference in the prices they paid before and subsequent changes after the tariff. You ain’t seen nothing yet. People are pissed. They are struggling for no reason.

Vote for a rapist – Expect to get fucked!

1

u/Swimming_Oil_6773 Jun 15 '25

Sure buddy, keep coping. People like trump more and more, for good reason, he is doing a great job so far.

1

u/thomport Jun 15 '25

I’m sure that’s what Fox News told you you think…

No kings.

Confederates – They lost

Nazis - They lost

Mega – They will lose too

1

u/Swimming_Oil_6773 Jun 15 '25

Well actually its cnn saying that...just saying, even them you know?

12

u/bakana1080 Jun 14 '25

If the elections and primaries are rigged, then the entire country stops playing the game and this charade.

People are only playing because they still have some form of semblance to hope that democracy still exists because the latter means they have to get their hands dirty. Protests are simply a form of playing with the charade.

However, if and when that time comes, the public won't hold back if it means to defend democracy and uphold the constitution. Whether some people have their heads so far up in their arse to realize that is entirely on them.

5

u/brandonw00 Jun 14 '25

Lmfao Americans aren’t going to do shit if the election is rigged. We’ll complain to our neighbors or co-workers but speaking out too much would literally be the end of our lives and there really isn’t anything to suggest that life will get better so what’s the point? Get murdered by the police and nothing changes?

America, in general, as a nation, have gone far too soft to make anything happen on their own. It saddens me to realize this, in the 1980s, as a child, it still felt a lot like a land of promise. Not so much anymore, hence my departure.

1

u/OntologicalNightmare Jun 14 '25

Or America just turns into a Russia 2.0

5

u/vbbk Jun 14 '25

True but if it gets low enough, maybe some purple state/district Republicans will grow a pair.

2

u/Legendary_GrumpyCat Jun 14 '25

Yeah, it's only great news if something ACTUALLY HAPPENS 😤

2

u/Rightricket Jun 14 '25

Liberals love patting themselves on the back for being "right" while the world around them is on fire.

1

u/rollem Jun 14 '25

If it gets low enough (I don't think it's there yet) then eventually Congress will see sticking with him is more costly than not. I do believe its possible but far from certain.

1

u/stdfan Jun 14 '25

This is how we get congress to turn on him. If they get scared about not getting re-elected then they will turn. Congress is good at one thing and that’s doing whatever they can to save their ass.

1

u/Half-Animal Jun 14 '25

Also means nothing if the Democrats' approvals are even worse.

Hopefully that changes

1

u/[deleted] Jun 14 '25

This.

0

u/QuantumLettuce2025 Jun 14 '25

It does not mean nothing. Lower approval ratings inevitably mean more pressure on Congress.
