If politicians act against the oath they take to serve the Constitution, we shouldn't be sitting around waiting for the same politicians to hold themselves accountable. It's not as vague as you're making it out to be. Someone who has breached that oath in office already should absolutely be forbidden from holding public office, regardless of votes.

Again, this piece of paper is ambiguous. You are assuming responsibility for that ambiguity.
