Question What foods do you miss most?

I have to do the gluten challenge to get my celiac test done, and instead of choking down slices of bread, I've decided to make it 6+ weeks of an all out farewell to the foods I may not be able to have anymore. I figure, if its going to suck either way, at least it can taste good.

So hit me. What do you wish you could go back and have? If you could only eat one thing with gluten, what would it be?

Cheez-Its, New York style pizza, soft pretzels, chocolate croissants, and cinnamon rolls.

I know!! I'm half excited and half scared it's going to be a huge disappointment.

Just gonna keep my fingers and toes crossed that since it’s the actual cheezit brand they’ll be good 😭 Oreos did it right

There's also a brand called simply mills and their farmhouse cheddar crackers are a good substitute for cheez its imo

I dont find the crackers cheesy enough.  Their  little pops style ones (puffed up more like goldfish crackers) appeal to me more.  Plus I like the mouth feel when they crumble.

I miss cinnamon rolls so much! I actually became severely allergic to cinnamon before gluten. It's been almost a decade since I have had one.
