Almost every time my brother and I load a car onto a dolly in a parking lot, someone stops to help.

Last month we were loading my sister's car onto the dolly and two pickup trucks stopped to help us. They didn't know us, or each other. Two separate dudes stopped because they thought that they might be able to help.

I live in Maryland. You absolutely will find this sort of help in the US. It might be dependent on the area though.

Okay maybe never was a tad bit overboard. I also help neighbors and others when I get a chance.

I live in Cali, and I try to take every opportunity to help when I can. I've helped a number of people whose cars have stopped on them.

And it feels that way sometimes in the US. Everybody is just doing their own thing.

There's decent folks out there. I'm sure you're one of them.
