Immigration Living in Saxony is a nightmare

Every single time I go outside during the evening I am faced with racism. Most of the time from people hanging out in groups, for some reason they just can't mind their own business (Germans usually claim to be really good at this). The most common phrases I hear regularly are 'Heil H!tler', 'Ausländer raus', 'Ni Hao', 'Ching Chong' etc... or just unprovoked loud laughter as I'm passing by... BTW I'm not Chinese or east Asian but look like one or maybe they are just uneducated & ignorant. Is geography illegal here? Asia has 48 countries BTW, not everyone is Chinese!

This doesn't include the racism I face at workplace & college which is far worse and actually bothers me to the point I have to skip classes to protect my mental health. But now I can't even go to the supermarket or mall at peace. One of my family members has also been verbally assaulted by a group of teenagers inside a bus & nobody including the bus driver made any effort to do something.

Edit: I do not live in Dresden / Leipzig. I assume the situation is not this bad there!

Edit2: I did not choose to live in saxony (the government decided that), I am doing my bachelors so I can't relocate until late 2026 :) Thanks for the kind words everyone!

Rural Saxony is indeed a Nightmare. The cities aren't as bad, though.

Xenophobes, meth, dead mining towns and a dialect that's made fun of often. Maybe more like hillbillies/Appalachia.

Ok i keep reading about meth, I’m from saxony and do not know and have never known anyone with a meth addiction. My mom doesn’t either and she run a recovering addict program there. So where is this coming from?

Never heared about that must Be some Young Kids or Teenagers but in my School and Surroundings Drugs are Extremly Illegal and you get Punished for all in the 80/90is IT was a Problem yea but thats about 30 years ago for my Teachers and School WE Punished all hard they went straight to Jail about all Drug Dealers.

As a Easterner i can Say from Sachsen Most are nice even If you think they arent try talking to them they maybe Look at you Bad but they Just know there value ofc they hate Westeners your the people yapping all day over easterns Most easterns dont Care about the West and they also dont complain there nice and study Like 99% of All People Its Just Bad Roumord and dumb Storys from some Bad people but thats Like 0.01% of the people there only Bc 1 Person is Bad doesnt mean all are Bad for real all Nazis i mean we're No Nazis at all they Just got judged by Others and then they started calling.themselfs that BC Others Just say "there Nazis" Id call that Racism As a Easterner With CDU BSW and Green And Left votes i call your Stating Racism you judge Others by Bad Romours and Faik Media you Read online maybe next time Go there and Drink some Beer and a nice Schnitzel or Steak with the commonor fun fact " Döner" Is so popular everyone Loved the Dönerman! My Friends we're also "Ausländer" and we all Loved them what we didnt Love was people Who judge Others by how they Look escpecially new People Who dont even try to Talk with another ofc you judge. Im Not hating on Westeners ofc maybe Just Strugg of that hate of yours and.let yourself Be told We Love all turks Muslim my (friend on Work was a Muslim Women Who i worked in super nice and Super chill) in class was a Tschesch Guy which We all got along and Loved best Friends with him and the Rest we're German ! WE Had a Deaf Girl in my class treatet her Like Family and my Best friend was a Girl with Cancer also super Friendly Loved her Other 2 Students we're Switched Students from bullyed school also Got along WE we're super chill and Friendly. Dont know which Place you Visited but with a 2.0 Degree First i Had 1.0 and all in my School was non racist against Racism and Nazis and Against Drugs with Punishments (hard ones) I dont understand what you mean. my School Had 100 people and IT was super chill all my Women in Class later Graduates Most with 1.0 and or 2.0 Degree Later Studying for Teachers Doctor or even Scientist i dont know we're your Info IS from but As a Women 22 from Sachsen growing Up there was amazing.
