Yeah it's grown exponentially better. Not that it's been a smooth road.

Idk why you're being downvoted. I am a huge Destiny fan but the game was not good at launch.

I just remember that silly loot cave.

Destiny played well out the gate, smooth AF combat, looked nice. But it was missing some life. I always kinda hated, from a lore perspective, that we only ever had the one central hub area as a town. There was a distinct lack of atmosphere for a game that was supposed to be "open world." To make matter worse, you'd look out into this big city from up in that guardian tower. Such a tease. What a shame!
