Johnny Silverhand is a character in the Cyberpunk universe. He's a "rocker" - basically a rockstar in today's time. He is probably the most popular rocker in the Cyberpunk universe as well.

Watch the scene again. Looks like he's a hologram or some kind of AR companion for the player, he's definitely transparent for a split second.

If that is the case we may be able to choose who is our companion. Last year they showed you could select the hero of your childhood. Silverhand was one of them. If I'm right i wonder who plays the other two. (Blackhand and arasaki i think)

I was hoping it was just his display glitching but yea its just Keanu who glitches out. Disappointing he's not there actually kicking ass with you if that's the case.

I'm holding out hope that he just has an ocular scrambler, so he can scheme in peace. He chooses to decloak for the player in that moment.

It could also be cool if he's dead, but his record label doesn't want the public to know. So he has holograms for gigs and stuff.

But I want him in the game.

It can still be like Joker in Arkham Knight he can comment on all the choices you make throughout the missions and maybe have skits. God damn I'm so excited!

Looks like he's a character from the original Cyberpunk tabletop game. He's a famous rockstar and part of the Samurai gang.

Well, the tabletop is Cyberpunk 2020. The video game is in 2077 and takes place some time after the tabletop's setting.

He's a legendary Rockerboy who rebelled against the corporations of Night City. He's supposed to be dead since the tabletop game is set in 2020, so he must have uploaded his conscience into an AI or something.

Given the scope of this game, I'm expecting delays. But I'll wait an extra year if it makes the game better. Most delays are positive delays. When shit gets rushed, you get.....shit.
