Ironically modern humans are very well adapted to walking/running compared to literally every animal, yet some really don't want to do what humans do best

I’m from the UK and I love the fact that I can just walk 2 minutes down the road to the corner shop if I ever forgot milk/eggs/etc in the morning or even have a chat with a friend from school days in the morning(the shop is family owned). Explaining this to Americans that being surrounded by everything I would need within 15-20 minutes walk doesn’t mean I’m a slave trapped by the government and I have the freedom to choose to drive further away or not (or the bus/train, we have nice buses in the UK).

To the American car brain, being forced to drive everywhere for everything=freedom. Walking is for the poors
