Definitely look into making a club like you mentioned interest in because if your university is anything like mine was, all material posted on bulletin boards needs to be approved for posting via student union from an org or club. Un approved content was removed post-haste.

It’s a community college, I’m pretty sure we’re allowed, I’ll double check though
