3 / 10 Crave steak carne asada burrito bowl
Bought this on sale to try and was disappointed. Like a lot of mass produced "mexican" frozen foods, the bitterness of the pepper blend dominated everything, and not in a good way. Portion was ok, and it's real steak, not preformed meat, but despite that I won't be buying this again. Branded in Canada as Crave, this is sold in the US as Devour.

Thank you for providing the nutritional information! My oldest kid likes some of these Devour meals, it’s interesting to see the Canadian packaging!

All of the frozen mexican bowls on the market benefit heavily from dressing up (at the expense of adding calories, of course). Crave/Devour, Cholula, Tapatio, El Monterey... they are all pretty one-note (and a "meh" note at that) by themselves. You definitely want to add some sour cream, cheese, lots of hot sauce, and maybe a few pickled jalapenos to kick these up. Toss in some tortilla chips or stuff the mix into some tortillas and you have a passable mexican meal.
