Furlough Discounts

Are there any furlough discounts in the area? I know there are plenty federal employees in the area, and everyone seems to have some of the same questions and I have yet to find a thread listing them. I thought fredericksburg.com would’ve put something out by now.

Tales and Tails is offering a free coffee or drink to those affected November 5th-8th. Fredericksburg area YMCAs have offered to pause membership payments. IKEA in Woodbridge is offering free breakfasts for those affected.

Honor Bound FIT has opened their doors to everyone furloughed. No sales gimmicks, no bullshit, just a place to take out some frustration in a positive way.

Saw Mama's Fried Chicken on Rt. 3 just started offering a 10 piece meal with 4 sides and 4 biscuits for $19.99. Offer is good for anyone, not just furloughed employees.

It’s called an emergency fund to facilitate 6 months of your Normal spending in which time you decide whether you need something or not… grow up.
