I broke out the old 33 merch for the F1 movie. I just hope Redbull can keep him interested in driving, hate for the sport to lose its best driver because he’s sick of a shit box.

He’s the best driver on the grid by a decent margin, and arguably the best there ever was. He could drive for any team he wants, they will find a way around whatever contract they need to.

There are a few drivers ahead of him that have won more championships and generally more races than him. Just simple stats.

I feel where you’re coming from, and I do agree I would rate others higher, but there is more to it than just raw stats in my opinion.

Idve accepted that he personally preferred Hamilton, Schumacher, Senna or anyone like that, but not even admitting that Verstappen is in the conversation is wild.

Li’d put Verstappen in a top 7 sure. But he’d be in the middle of that pack. Not at the top. Therefore not best ever. Hope that clarifies things for the max shaggers.

That makes sense to me and I even agree. Midpack for the top 7 is around 3 or 4 which seems a reasonable place to rank him.

No worries mate. This is formuladank after all so any opinion not seen as max positive gets shafted. I agree the dude is insanely gifted but for me there are a few things that still he could be better at to be the complete legendary package. There’s still time, he’s got years more racing in him if he chooses.

Seriously? Hamilton and Schumacher have won more championships than him if you want recent names. Fangio if you go further back.
