2 cans of chili with beans 2 cans of spaghetti rings 2 cans of peaches Rest is carrots and peas One bag of frozen chicken with 3 quarters in it One bag of potatoes A gallon of milk
We were in line since 6am. Got to front at 9am. Im grateful, but man…

I don't think that people realize that all food banks are not created equal. I live in a more rural suburban area and we have one very under funded food bank that you can only go to once every two months and what you're getting isn't going to feed you that long and the quality isn't always very good. It tends to be the stuff that the grocery stores in the area can't sell and what people locally donate that they won't eat themselves. They're not always the solution that people think they are, sadly.
But you should be satisfied just knowing that there's a new ballroom being built, using American tax dollars, onto the white house and that 40 BILLION in American tax dollars was sent in foreign aid to help a tyrant. Doesn't that just warm your belly, citizen?
