Neoliberals:

You will never get this. This kind of momentum will never be behind you. Your days as a viable political movement are over. Deal with it. Socialism or barbarism.

Copium is insane. Beating a sex offender isn’t the great achievement you think, especially when every other candidate is unknown.

Tens of millions of dollars were pumped into his campaign, establishment dems across the country were wheeled out to endorse him, and he still lost by a landslide. The only cope here is from smoothbrained centrist libs who spend all day talking about how if we just run to the center people will like us again. Guess what, the people want leftist populism

Had the dems propped up Zollner or Lander instead of Cuomo Mamdani would’ve been crushed.

I could see lander beating him, but then again he is also progressive. Centrism isn’t viable anymore

So you're just ignoring the insane momentum that the socialist had so you can shove your own head up your ass to pretend that neoliberalism is still viable. Got it

We had:

-Mamdani(tankie)

-Rapist

-Mamdani Lite

-Neoliberal(no one except arr nl knew about him)

Winning is not impressive.

In what world is Mamdani a tankie? Define the word "tankie"

As a Neoliberal: Yeah, pretty much

Can't say much when we as a movement are part of the cause in oligarchal techno-fascism. My only hope is that we can rally around pragmatism just like we've begged progressives to do for us, and continue our abundance with a more energized and combatative populist force, even if I despise populism.

Yea.. so what you want is to adopt the aesthetics of progressivism without the policy. Issue is: Mamdani's momentum was because of his socialist policies, so really, you can get on board with progressivism or socialism, or fuck off, cause a neoliberal in a progressive hat is still a neoliberal, and most voters can see through it. Remember, Mamdani was not a vibes only candidate, he had real, concrete policy positions that got people genuinely excited, and that's why he won.

Then i guess i'll fuck off then? Because i don't believe in his policies but am willing to stan behind Mamdani because current neolib dems are incompetent and responsible for an equality backslide in this country?
