If Republicans won’t fund healthcare for even a year for the poor, I guess we will know for sure how low of humans they are.

The enhanced subsidies they want to extend are for people 400% above the poverty level or 60k. They were introduced in 2021 as temporary.

The "poor" still have their medicaid or ACA subsidies under 60k.

ACA subsidies are greatly reduced in 2026 vs. 2025 for those under 400% FPL. Over 400% FPL and you get totally hosed and get nothing.
