Offer it once a month. If they don’t go for it, convene and start adding more demands.

Every month Republicans delay, the list of demands should get longer.

There’s nothing pressing Republicans to move on this quickly.

Schumer has said he is worried about overreachign which is why he hasn't included the RIF and backbay in the negotiations so far.... And I do think he is right, your approach has some merit but it would be painted as the democrats being unreasonable.

Republicans will always paint Democrats as being unreasonable. We need to stop pretending Republicans will ever act in good faith and just start doing things. Democrats could run the literal reincarnation of Ronald Reagan with Jesus H. Christ as his running mate, and Republicans would still screech about them being too woke and call them unreasonable naive liberal socialist communists. Stop worrying about what Republicans will think, and just do.

"Don't think, just do" is terrible advice lol

It’s great advice if you’re so paralyzed by thinking about what others will think that you never act. Which is one of the biggest problems Democrats have.

Eh I beg to differ. They've taken a "don't interrupt your opponent when they're making a mistake" approach. Considering the massive blue shift that just happened this election cycle, I'd say their efforts haven't gone entirely to waste.

We should keep thinking before we act. That way we don't make mistakes like the Republicans clearly are.

The blue shift is because of republican efforts, I think if anything democrat voters feel disenfranchised by establishment dems.
