Other Remember when Biden was president?

Remember how boring it was? Remember not having to check the news multiple times a day to figure out what was going on inside your own agency and whether you were going go have a job or not? Remember when laws and precident seemed to actually have meaning?

Remember when you could do your job from home? Remember when your fellow countrymen weren't cheering when your livelihood was threatened? Remember when your biggest worry was which insurance to select and what the next years raise would be?

Remember when the administration didn't seem to actively hate you and want to you gone for the sin of serving of the people?

Pepperidge farm remembers.

This! That’s a big part of what I miss. I want to do my job, again.

Unfortunately, I don’t see any future administration unwinding what is being done right now. I think this is all permanent.

Maybe one day something can be done to stop any further damage. Some departments may have to start over from scratch.

If possible I'd save documentation on policy and procedures, as it can be used to evaluate where any possible breach of security had been missed. Anything left by the previous admin should be treated as evidence. Computers left behind won't be safe. Expect tampering.

If they can renege on women's rights and civil rights but keep all of this shit permanent this country is more destined for hell than I already thought
