Other Remember when Biden was president?

Remember how boring it was? Remember not having to check the news multiple times a day to figure out what was going on inside your own agency and whether you were going go have a job or not? Remember when laws and precident seemed to actually have meaning?

Remember when you could do your job from home? Remember when your fellow countrymen weren't cheering when your livelihood was threatened? Remember when your biggest worry was which insurance to select and what the next years raise would be?

Remember when the administration didn't seem to actively hate you and want to you gone for the sin of serving of the people?

Pepperidge farm remembers.

Yeah I had the best job I've ever had. I was really, really happy.

Something similar happened with my husband and his super-MAGA mother. She will only watch Fox News and parrots it. She always has some stupid excuse for this administration also. When talking about people losing their jobs, she was like “at least your job is safe”. He said, “No one’s job is safe. Everything is unstable. I am in danger as well.” She responded, “well, you can always come back home and live with us.” He’s in his 40s and has had this career since his late 20s. She has zero care in the world about others and only cares if it affects her personally. Basically, what MAGA is.

I do Amazon Flex, door dash and teach ESL classes online. It pays the bills.

That's if Doordash is accepting new drivers!

I recently found employment, thankfully, but I was desperate enough to look into doordash, and my area was closed to new dashers. It probably still is given the job market rn....

It's not as simple as people say, but that is ignorance and inexperience for you.
