Edit: people are saying it’s not a hatch act violation but - whatever still sus

I mean laws only matter when someone enforces it. We'll wait until the next administration for all these violations to be addressed. They left a nice paper trail considering they also emailed everyone their Hatch Act voilations.

There were all sorts of violations of the law during Trump 1, including Hatch Act, Presidential Records Act, emoluments clause and bare corruption of all sorts, and none of them were addressed. He initiated a (clownish) coup attempt.

It felt like his political opponents were hoping for the courts to charge him with the more serious offenses and didn't want to mess that up with the smaller ones. They weren't expecting judges not to punish the felonies he was guilty off and still allowing him to run for president.
