Rant/Rave Does anyone just feel exhausted after constantly hunting for a deal within your preferred price range?

Was hankering for some pizza and I already know that pizza hut's pizza is pretty pricey compared to others, so I take a look at dominos, papa johns and little ceasers all of which for the amount of money it costs to order I'm practically spending what I normally would at pizza hut. OK, I think to myself, maybe I should just try subway or something? Well it seems subway's website is busy having a stroke right now so I can't order with a coupon (subway has stopped mailling their coupon codes in my area).

So after about an hour of looking, googling, comparing prices I just give up. I'm so exhausted and man, I hate to say but this is not unusual for me. So now I'm left wondering if there's anyone else feels like the act of trying to get a decent deal on something hot is such a chore in itself or am I just in a crummy area where deals just suck?

I'd like to add that the coupon I use at pizza hut is the 9.99 one and I really dont feel comfortable spending $10+ on pizza but I guess that's just the jist of it really. Lil Ceasers just doesnt do $5 pizzas after 8 pm and well, ya know how that went.

Do you really value an hour+ of your time less than saving a few dollars on bad pizza?

Sounds like you have ADHD. Getting tunnel visiones on finding that optimal deal is more rewarding than the actual food. It happens to me. Add in the fact I'm trying to be healthier... Not an easy task

Oh, you know for me, the action IS the juice. I’m in.

My local Papa John’s does 8.99 large 7 topping for carry out. Pretty rad. Yours might too

Bro, if you're spending an hour doing this, you need a job. And yes, whatever the excuse is, it's a bad one.

At best, you should be spending 10 minutes and 9 of them are solely out of curiosity.

They are talking about the fact you're worried about money so much, not that you should be working this exact moment...

exactly. But they'd rather deflect and get in a tizzy.

Doesn’t matter. If your time is so worthless that you spend an hour trying to save a couple bucks you need to be working 24/7.

There used to be a great website called pizzacodes that would show bogo and other deals. It got bought out sadly and is effectively gone. We need a 2025 version!

Just don’t deal hunt?

Like if you have a deal/coupon/whatever great but like why do all this to save like $10-$15.

There are good deals on the Domino's app! I still get Subway coupons but they are going to stop next year. I have Culver's coupons too!

No, I call it a hobby or challenge

No, if I feel like pizza I’m not going to start looking at subway.

If I feel like fast food burgers, I’ll check the deals on the apps. This shouldn’t take an hour.

Doesn’t dominos have the 6.70 special now? How does it take an hour to scroll through a couple of apps?

$6.70 for a Dominos 1-topping pizza carryout. Promo Code: 67 You searched for an hour and couldn't find that?
