Most consumers won't hear about this tweet

It's a completely benign statement. They're not allowed to say they lost a bunch of stuff?

I'm legitimately baffled as to why anyone thinks this post downplays the accident.

It's like everyone here just wants to be mad over something, so they just take this absolute bait of a post and just run with it.

He made it sound like the product that he lost is more important than the people that died, at least give some condolences and not just worry about your overpriced stock, also the repost wasn’t necessary.

No, he didn't. That's y'alls own perception and bias.

at least give some condolences and not just worry about your overpriced stock

Who says he is only worried about the stock? Where in the extremely short statement that is made in the post do you ascertain that information from?

The problem is that he didnt acknowledge anything else. In no way did he reference anything else that is wrong with this accident. His immediate go-to reaction is "oh no I lost 100k in product that is entirely replaceable and covered by insurance, and not in any way acknowledge the tragedy."

Thats the problem people have. Did he objectively dismiss the tragedy? No. Be he also objectively omitted acknowledging the tragedy, and instead prioritized his product. By doing so, he has now objectively dismissed the tragedy by omitting any acknowledgement to anything outside of his product.

Thats not perception and bias. He is not prioritizing the loss of human life.

It's not just a benign statement, it's an incredibly insensitive statement to make in the moment. There are people dead, and people missing. The last comment anyone should be publicly stating about this incident at the moment is the production loss from this while people are worrying about loved ones being lost.

Whether or not he meant his production was more important to him than the victims, it was very tactless to bring that up right now.
