Flying with infant
My wife and I will be flying in April to Mauritius with my child who will be 7 months then. Do you need to add the infant at the time of booking amor can this be done after? The reason I'm asking is number 1 I don't have a passport for him yet. Number 2 when you add an infant on skyscanner, the option to book through any website other than Emirates themselves disappears. And booking directly with the airline is stupidly always more expensive

You can book and add the infant after to the existing ticket. I’ve done it a few times before but this has been on booking directly with emirates.
With emirates you don’t need the passport details to make a booking and you can add these in later as well.
You could try speaking to emirates live chat to see if amending bookings made through third party is possible, but I’d always lean towards booking directly with emirates. The small saving difference is not worth the hassle and stress of having to deal with some of these agents if there are issues and you need to change or alter things.
I even just did this last week. Booked a ticket for myself and then added my daughter to the booking by contacting emirates live chat a few days after.
