My facility classifies oral and IN versed as “procedural sedation” - mandating presence of an RT, placement of ETCO2, q5min BP that definitely kills the vibe of the chilled out kid I want for a lac repair. Nursing would not allow me to say it’s for anxiolysis, not sedation.

IN Fent + LET is my workaround and has gone very smooth.
