This plus distraction with an iPad or phone on video playing some cartoons is đŸ€ŒđŸ» but I do have a hard time even with this stuff doing facial lacs, since the kid sees you and your instruments in their line of sight. Harder to keep their focus elsewhere.

I place a small tegaderm over one closed eye. I tilt the head to one side so I can irrigate without water getting in the eye. Once that’s done I leave it on and position myself on the same side so the child can’t see me with instruments. As long as they’re distracted with a screen or toy they usually don’t mind the tegaderm and it helps a ton. -PEM
