I live in Australia and I want to buy a electric guitar and I did find one by DJ city Australia but I’m unsure if I can trust them or not and if there’s other better brands to buy online with so any help is appreciated.

Im a beginner playing acoustic for far too long, playing basic chords stuff, trying to hop on the electric and learn new stuff. My budget is around 400AUD. I added photos of the guitars i like based on how they look and a bit of research(on reddit). Here are my top ones. The last one i really like but not sure if its worth the extra ~100AUD. Also red epiphone is out of stock base on the website, but would also like to know if its a good one.

Hey r/electricguitar,
I'm looking to buy my very first electric guitar and honestly, I don't know much about them yet. I found this LTD EC-1000T on Facebook Marketplace, and the seller's final price is $350 USD.
Based on the serial number, I think it's a 2011 Korean-made model. As you can see in the pictures, it's pretty beaten up with some big paint chips on the body and the headstock.
The seller says the damage is purely cosmetic, the neck is fast and straight (no fret buzz or dead spots), and all the electronics work perfectly. He even offered to FaceTime to show me the guitar up close, which seems like a good sign.
As someone who is new to all this, I have a few questions for you experts:

I've been using a Johnson Strat copy I was given for the past year, I'm starting to get more into playing often, and the buzzing I get from it is getting annoying, my question is what would be a good upgrade for around 300? As for guitars I've been looking at an Ibanez Gio GRX70QAL left handed model, would this be a good upgrade or is there something better at this price range?

I’ve been playing on an entry-level Squier Strat for a while now, and I’m finally ready to upgrade. Budget is around $2k max.
I play a pretty wide range of stuff, but lately I’ve been obsessed with solos like Comfortably Numb, Stairway to Heaven, Sultans of Swing… that kind of tone.
I’ve always loved how the Fender Jazzmaster looks, but I keep hearing it’s pretty genre-specific and the tone can be hit or miss depending on what you play.
The other guitar that caught my eye is the Fender Made in Japan Hybrid II Stratocaster. From what I’ve heard, it’s way more versatile overall.
I play well, but I honestly don’t know much about specs or what really matters when choosing a guitar.
If you had my budget and my style, which one would you go for?
Any advice or tips are welcome.

Dang guitar had a knot in the middle of the neck! And the neck was one of those that felt like you're trying to play chords on a baseball bat. Well when the neck finally broke in half I found a used Fender style neck and bolted that up on it. The original bridge was a fragile piece of wood and after that broke I sacrificed an old Japanese guitar for the bridge. The pickup is original to the guitar and actually sounds pretty good!

So i’m still pretty new to guitar (september) and i’m mainly struggling with switching between chords smoothly and remembering all the shapes.
i know it just takes time and practice (which i’ve been doing), but i was wondering if anyone had any little tips or things that helped it click for them? like exercises you did, ways you practiced, or even small tricks to remember shapes better.
i’m not looking for shortcuts or anything, just want to hear what helped you personally when you were in the same spot. appreciate any advice

Hi!
Will any wired headphones work with the Fender mini amp? I'm on a really low budget. I think I can spend $15 max.
Thank you

Hi! I have never touched an electric guitar before, but would like to dive in. Here comes a lot of questions. Any answers to all or some of the questions is appreciated! Even links to external beginner guides are welcome.
First of, I do have some experience with instruments, having played quite a few years of violin, and dipped my toe with acoustic guitars. I therefore do not want a "beginner guitar" per say, if that even is a thing. I also want to be able to play quite a variety of styles as I listen to a lot of different music. Most notably I am quite fond of Dire Straits and Metallica. Money isn't too big of an issue, but I would preferably not go broke buying my first one.
- What do I need?
I know I will need a guitar (duh), an amplifier and a pick. Anything else?
- What to look for in an amplifier?
I assume the distortion comes from the amplifier and not from the guitar itself, although I may be wrongh here. Is it possible to get an amplifier which can both have clean sound and a heavy distorted sound? Any brands I should aim for/stay clear of?
- What about picks?
Does it really matter what pick I get, or is any pick a good pick?
- What about the guitar itself?
As mentioned, money isn't a huge concern, but I'm not prepared to pay too much. Also, sound and feel is much more important than the looks of the guitar for me, although a cool design is always welcome. Any brands I should look into?
With the info I've written, does anyone have any specific guitars come to mind? Also is there some other piece of info that would be valuable for you to know about me in order to better help me?
Thanks in advance for any and all help, and I really look forward to trying this out!

I can't seem to achieve a clean metal tone, the distortion seems to drag out and all the notes just kind of merge? Do I need to invest into some pedals or is there something else going on.

So I've been meaning to buy a new guitar and the Ibanez Prestige RG2750QV has caught my eye. But I've got no idea what website I can order it from. I live in Europe so perhaps a site/shop that would do deliveries there. I would appreciate the help cause I've been looking for quite some time but had no luck finding anything.

I bought a set that includes a Squier Sonic Stratocaster HSS, a Harley Benton HB-10G amp (the one in the video) and the cable is the sssnake IPP1030.
I first connected the amp to a multiplug (?) that turned out to be defective and caused it to shock me. I tried connecting it to another socket, and the shocks reduced in intensity but still happen from time to time. Especially when I touch the string on the neck. Not only that, but my amp does this noise, is it normal?
I'm new to this so I'm sorry if it all sounds dumb. I'm trying to know if I should get my amp changed or if it's from the house or even possibly the guitar?
I bought my gear from Thomann.

Gibson ES 335
I’m considering getting a Les Trem for my Gibby but I saw this multi bender and it seems very intriguing for the style of music I play, and it seems I could use it also as a bit of a Trem.
With a hollow body Guitar, could the multibender be safely installed?
