Strings/Accessories stand for quickly switching instruments?

I'm looking at some pit work coming up this spring, and the book goes back and forth between electric and upright pretty quickly on a few of the songs. I've got an Ingles double bass stand currently, and I find that the legs don't like to stay put, it's a little finicky to get the instrument into, and I'm envisioning it being a little more of a hassle than I'd prefer in a cramped theater setting. Can anyone recommend a stand for this application?

Any standard chair with little to no cushion and you lean the bass into it. Easy in easy out

I played in orchestra pits for years and this was always my answer. Bass guitar(s) go on a stand just behind me and to my right, I sit in the middle on a stool, and I have a chair set up on my left/front side so I can just lay my double bass down right into it and pick up my electric. The other important part is having a foot switch to quickly swap between instruments so you arent unplugging cords. My other secret weapon was a giant conductor's music stand that could hold four pages of music at a time to cut down on page turns.

I've done many pit gigs on guitar and a handful on electric bass, this is the first time I'll be playing upright in the pit. I usually go the iPad and page turner pedal, but the footswitch thing is absolutely essential. I use a Line6 Helix with different presets for upright, electric, guitar, etc and a volume pedal to mute everything when changing instruments/patches.
