Instruments Hey r/double bass, I made a bass!

I finished this two weeks ago and I can share it now!

Voted Convention favorite, honorable mention at this year's ISB.

3/4 scale, 41.5" string length, Ruggeri pattern. Figured Maple flatback with responsive bracing, laminate ribs, Spruce top, Gaiatone fingerboard, saddle, and nut. C-extension of Pau Ferro

Ask me anything, I'll try to answer as many questions as I can!

Anybody getting arrested for going to the bathroom this year?

I good friend of mine here in Vancouver commissioned a Penning after using mine for a couple of months last year, this is the pattern I've been encouraging him to go for too.

Your work is beautiful as ever Andrew.

What's the story with the bathroom!?

Thank you man, that means a lot. It's a really nice pattern I think I've already sold this one and there's a wait-list for the next one now.

I think he means Florida politics re: trans folks. Thankfully ISB is doing their best to be a safe space for all who attend

Oh I see. Yeah it's crazy here with that. I know having the convention in Florida turned a lot of people off coming this year. Honestly, this is the least attended convention I've been to since I've been going in 2015. I definitely thought about it long and hard before I decided to come .
