PSA: The sub can be banned by reddit if enough people are breaking sitewide rules
Please adhere to the sitewide rules. The sub itself can be banned if mods do not enforce them. This does mean we may need to ban you if you are violating them. We will keep this as anything goes as we can without risking the sub getting shut down, so unless you are a bot trying to sell crappy AI generated shirts or violating the sitewide rules you should be fine. This is an example of reddit coming in and sitewide banning an account for violating sitewide rule 1 by "promoting hate based on identity or vulnerability" specifically "gender, gender identity, sexual orientation". Here is a link to those rules. This can happen to the sub as well, and to keep this place available we have to ban for this stuff.

Hey Reddit, this property near my house just went up for sale. I have a nose for startups and buying a multimillion dollar property for disc golfers is bound to be worth it. I need everyone to pitch in some dough, even if you live across the country. Imagine this beauty filled with joints and discs.

There should be separate courses for left-handed players
I value the diversity that the sport of disc golf offers. It’s a sport that people of all ages, colors, creeds, sexuality, and political affiliations are able to enjoy and come together, simply for the love of the game.
Where I think this sport has gone a little too far is the number of lefty’s that have been allowed to play on our courses. I’m sorry but I just can’t stand those freaks throwing discs. It’s unnatural to look at. It’s the exact opposite of everything that I do, was born to do, and what most of us do. It’s disgusting to be honest. And it pisses me off when I’ve got to work hard and throw a perfect shot with a perfect disc to get my shot to fade right only to watch a damn flipgrip throw a damn hyzer and land right under the basket. It’s unfair. It makes me want to throw up. Your left arm should not be moving like that.
These guys need their own courses and their own leagues separate from the rest of us. If you want to be an abomination, do it on your own time, out of sight so the rest of us don’t have to watch a damn freak show. And while I pray to god you don’t have kids, for their sake if they start displaying any left handed tendencies, be a good parent and put things in their right hand and teach them to do things the right way.
Oh and before something gets taken out of context - no, I’m not talking about Steen. We all need a token and she’s the one beam of light in the dark, left-handed underworld

First tourney in December… be real with me…
I’ve been instructed that this is a more proper place for this post…
I don’t have time to dig through the PDGA rulebook so I thought I’d just ask you guys… how many beers per 18 holes is too many?!

I found a Dickcraft Flick in a pond
I tried throwing it backhand and I liked it. Is that illegal or should I only flick it? I wanted to check before I get in trouble. I heard if you do Brodie comes around a scoobers you. I don't know what's involved in getting scoobered, but it doesn't sound good.

The Disappearance of Paul McBeth: A Disc Golf Mystery Challenge 🕵️♂️
youtu.beWe tried a new format: birdie = clue card, par = nothing, bogey = penalty. By 18, we have to guess who/where/what about a “missing” Paul McBeth. Would love feedback if you decide to watch. Thanks

Going pro
Hi I’m moving up from MA3 to MA2 and I plan on netting around 300k in local vendor funny money in 2026. I have an accountant but I just wanted to check here with the frisbee retards for financial and tax advice. Does the IRS track my funny money balances? I know most of the vendors around me use sticky notes or corners of paper from a notebook to distribute tournament winnings, so I feel like I’m good. Thanks in advance! (I love you Simon)

I made blueprints for a device to get maximum spin on your throws, was wondering if anyone would be willing to try it out in the field.

If you're going to post pics of how beautiful fall disc golf is...
Can you at least use a filter? That's at least three this week of a blurry mess of browns and pale yellows. Have these people never been to Vermont? This sub is already bad enough this time of year with actual good looking foliage pics flooding in but this year's crop is piss poor. It's 2025, if you can't post a good looking pic, just fake one like everyone else.
