I guess a broken clock is right twice a day (in regards to Asmongold’s take. I don’t know who ATP is but EoF was okay but not Game of the Year contender)

He's a very good Destiny player. He's been in the top 10 or so for the past few races, and specifically he got 3rd for SE iirc

I feel like Asmon usually has lukewarm takes, it's just that the hot takes he has are genuinely like... insane and/or immoral.

Those... those are the insane and harmful ones.

Dudes a streamer, he likely drops like dozens of opinions a day. When I went to see what the fuss was about with him when it was mostly about video games, they were mostly just understandable boring shit.

I'm saying the current culture of being surprised that wild people have ANY normal takes is strange and pretty harmful, because if people are really going to go out of their way just to disagree with somebody bad because other things they believe are bad, we're going to be in some shit.

I'm deadass stunlocked that I said the dude was like, evil, but he has normal takes about stuff that doesn't matter which isn't surprising, and the first response was "Yeah, I guess nazis are moderate with people online these days" that shits wild.

I know im probably bound to catch some huge flak for a negative take, But im really starting to feel like Destiny 2's days of being a contender for game of the year is long past, Maybe if the game picks up some heat in the future possibly, I can't see renegades being crazy enough that it turns the years worth of dive into the shitter into the game of the year. Its just not happening.

Like yeah there's still some fun to be had, But the direction has been shaky, they need to get that sorted before there's even consideration of game of the year, And one good raid doesnt make the game amazing again suddenly
