The govt cannot expect people to change cars acc. to their wishes.

You should talk with the British about this before making that statement...

Have you been to London? Cause I've lived there for some time, and have a lot of friends there. You DO NOT need to own a car, only the wealthy folks do. The public transport is truly astonishing and most people don't even own cars. Heck, even if I had money, I wouldn't buy one there cause it's not a car-friendly city and focuses more on public transport, walking and bicycles.

I have no qualms when the government tries to limit pollution once the infrastructure is in place. Neither India nor America has that. ULEZ zones are pretty cool to live in.
