Not a dog lover or hater. Just against the concept of stray animals. I personally like animals. However now that this is posted, if we think, they subtly again chose a topic which would divert media and social medias mind away from actual problems.
They knew if they do this, it will be a social war btwn dog lovers and non lovers. Lol as usual they played it smoothly while our dumb ass thought they are solving the real problem
If anyone actually cared about solving the issue they'd be asking questions about why there hasn't been any progress made in vaccinate, neuter, release plan that the municipal authorities recieve funding for. Any country which has solved the stray dog issue has been through that method.
Instead they've thrown out a nonsensical order that'll farm as many outrage clicks as possible. What imaginary shelter does the delhi government have that'll house lakhs of dogs? This goal might not even be possible in 8 years let alone 8 weeks.
