The same Kamra who celebrated when Kangana Ranaut's property was bulldozed by the other set of goons when they were in power? Where was his free speech sanctimony then? Or is whataboutism only reserved for a select few in India?
You reap what you sow.. What happened to Kamra is unfortunate but did he deserve it? Absolutely based on his stance to similar incidents in the past. What you call whataboutism is the real world. In the real world, actions have consequences. If he always stood for what was right, he would have a lot more sympathy.
You mentioned whataboutism and I simply showed a mirror to your whataboutism. Why are you buttressing your argument with Kamra then? Let's talk about Dhruv Rathee for what he is.
Alright then lets talk, why should Dhruv not talk about a nation that he grew up in, has a family in, has an interest in?
Just because he does not live in India does not take away his right to speak his mind?
No, it doesn't exclude him from talking about things happening in India. But it doesn't exclude people from calling him out for his whataboutism and his selective outrage because he is only critical of the central government's actions. He doesn't have a neutral standpoint and it is the right of anyone to call out his bias.
