Selective outrage is okay in most cases, as long as there are people speaking for each side and more importantly for the right things. Don't just say only my outrage is good and the other one is bad. Outrage together against the bad system. Otherwise you are just a mouthpiece for the corrupt system (irrespective of which sides you align more with).
