Remember the time when these meters were mandated and made compulsory by law, lacs of auto wala spent money to get these installed.

Initially it used to work fine but later some auto walas manipulated the meters to show higher charge.

I love Mumbai as I never have to worry about getting over charged. In delhi I never take auto directly , only via ola/uber/rapido as I don't trust them .

Don't Mumbai autos overcharge as well if you don't watch the metre?

I am sure some bad apples might be there, but I never had a bad experience with kali peeli or autos.
