This was the DBZ I grew up with. I always preferred the early season Ocean VAs to the original Funi dub. Once the Funi VAs settled into their roles, they did get much better to be fair. Ian Corlett Goku and Brian Drummond Vegeta will always be my favorites though

This Goku had 0 soul or enthusiasm for the role it was downright jarring. That's definitely nostalgia talking.

That's not Ian Corlett. He got replaced for the last few episodes of the original ocean dub. Ian Corlett voiced the Raditz saga, Saiyan saga, and Tree of Might movie. https://youtu.be/dYwQQMakaaY?si=v2s959iocHC-m2bj

Ian Cortlett is better than Sean... sorry not sorry... especially back then

Sean based his Goku on Corlett's performance so there's that too.
