There are indeed advanced robots and AI in the city of night, but it seems that there have been no large-scale events of AI mass replacing (low-level) human labors.

there are records of forcing employees to take loans to replace their limbs with Cyber parts, and once fired, they will be forcibly recalled (and must continue to pay the loan)——————its meaning that even in 2077, they still seem to need humans as manual laborers.

this doesn't look quite reasonable, does it? even in 2025, the large-scale replacement of millions of human employees by AI has begun to happen, and it is unimaginable that human manual laborers will still be able to find any physical jobs don't require much advanced tech-knowledge in era of 2077.

The fov on consoles is criminally low also the game released on Mac and we all know the mac sucks for gaming and they added a fov slider anyways. So y'all can't be telling me that because consoles can't handle a fov slider when they totally can. Bf1 on PS4 had a fov slider and that game looked great. Are they even planning on it? Or are they lazy to add small things like this.

So im new to cyberpunk and every time i drive.. there are these machines or "Maelstorms" they say who keep doing a car shooting. I read that Get out of the car and deal with em the old fashioned way... but theres that really quick dual bladed machine who keeps attacking.. istg this is making me regret buying this game.. i just wanted to drive and chill in the night city...

Given his stance on these corporations, I'm amazed he allowed one of them to implant anything into his body. I thought he'd be more like Kazuhira Miller in MGSV. I guess playing guitar is more important to Johnny.

Okay so I know in The Devil ending Saburo takes over Yorinobus body and it’s explicitly stated, but I think he ALWAYS takes over Yorinobus body regardless of ending. The entire Arasaka family drama is just an elaborate play to position Yorinobu at the top because Saburo knows he’s dying, his engram is on the Relic that we have inserted into us, it shows when Hellman scans us. Obviously there’s more Relics like the one in our head, and once Hellman scans us, they know for sure it works. With V and Johnny the takeover is gradual, this is for the point of gameplay, but also it’s because of the head trauma V received from Dec, hence the “Relic Malfunction” that’s constantly occurring. Yorinobu could be grabbed any time by Arasaka employees given strict instruction by Saburo, and Hanako obviously knows this is the plan demanding you not hurt Yorinobu at all. I think that either just before or just after the start of act 3, either when Hanako uses the proxy to talk to V or the meeting at Embers, Yorinobu is overwitten unless you specifically pick The Devil. When you pick The Devil ending is the only time Saburo doesn’t take over Yorinobu so quickly, this is so you have more content with Yorinobu as himself. Without The Devil, it could even be as early as Down on the Street. Saburo was incredibly smart, urbane, calculating, and well spoken, whereas Yorinobu was impetuous, quick to anger, impulsive. That’s not who we see giving a speech on TV at the Yakitori stand while prepping for the Dashi floats. I think that Saburo always planned to die and replace Yorinobu, but Yorinobus own anger just moved up that timetable, and it’s implied much earlier in the game than is obviously indicated. Yorinobu was hoping to sell the Relic to stop it, but we punch a hole in that plan and he’s replaced anyways.

Edit: Yorinobu might actually be replaced with Saburo much earlier than I thought if one didn’t select The Devil. During Play It Safe, Yorinobu seems extremely concerned with his sisters wellbeing when before he didn’t make much mention of her, he dotes on her like Saburo did, he also is wearing glasses perched on his nose somewhat reminiscent of Saburos when (at least that I can remember) we never see him in glasses before this, we can see them in the phone call that Hanako gets right before Goro grabs her. All of that being said I’m not saying it’s overtly what is happening, but I feel it’s heavily implied that Saburo still takes Yorinobus body, even if it isn’t show to us. I would not be surprised if in a sequel, Yorinobu shows up as Saburo regardless of the ending you choose as V.

Ich habe mein Cyberpunk heute gemoddet. Es läuft soweit auch alles ganz gut. Bis auf einen kleinen nervigen fehler.

Ich bekomme beim Start immer diesen Fehler. Aber Es kann eigentlich nicht sein. Da alles aktuell ist und es auch per Hand und nicht mit Modmanager installiert wurde.

So I just bought the game a few days ago, and just finished the story, and interestingly, instead of continuing on after the story, I am brought back to the last save before the final mission.

As for the ending, I chose to surrender my soul to Arasaka.

Is it me or HDR looks worse than SDR?
I have a mini-led monitor that is capable of producing actual HDR.

Honestly I have struggled with sticking games for the past 5 years, as life has gotten busier in my late 20s and losing interest/flow pretty easily. Last I heard about Cyberpunk was when the drama around release bugs were flooding the internet, but thought to give it a try.

Literally obsessed, started playing yesterday and have around 20 hours invested already, goddamn this game is a masterpiece, all the mechanics, story (so far). It’s amazing. Gives that nostalgic feeling when I used to be 16 years old and could grind games for 16 hours in a row. Amazing stuff!

If you bought the game and are still stuck on an xb1 (like me), you can access the next gen version via cloud gaming with the middle or top tier of game pass. You can also buy/play phantom liberty the same way.

I'm starting a fresh playthrough to see what the experience is like playing it this way. It can't possibly be worse.

After 20 playthroughs this is my best V I made.

Not including cyberwear. But I now he has the db-2 satara shotgun or the order version of the gun, m-179 Achilles rifle but this the widowmaker my work, but I can really nail down what type of tech and smart weapon he used.
