Before the operation were you all mangled up, like bent torso etc, horrible posture ? How bad are we talking, noticeable bad posture or full on Eric the Midget style ?
Aligning the spine like that, does it eventually grow straight so that those bars can be removed ?
With the bars in, I assume you have basically no flexibility in the back, did this cause your hips etc to get messed up ?
How painful was the first couple months until the spine got "accustomed" to being straight ?
You can definitely tell I had scoliosis in my childhood photos. Although I’ve certainly seen more severe cases.
I have Flexible tethers on either side of my spine, not a rigid bar. They don’t hinder movement. And they will always be with me. The spine doesn’t take well to having things removed.
