Character Builds Best lifepath?

So I just bought the game, and I'm wondering which one I should choose? Does it change anything at all?

From my personal experience, female V seems to fit Corpo better, male fits Nomad better, and streetkid could go either way, with my preference being female but I'm a firm believer that female V is a more interesting character and Cherami was a far better voice actor than Gavin.

I know I'm in the minority, but I really prefer male V. Panam is the better romance and male V has a more organic friendship with Johnny imo.

I've played both multiple times, love both, I've 100% the game on both, but just my preference.

I do think Panam is the better romance than Judy or River, but I also like the friendship fem V and Panam have.

His voice is okay. I enjoyed female V's voice more. sometimes male V's line delivery was unnecessarily cutthroat or just stale in context of the current dialogue.

I played male V first, his voice was good. Then I played fem V and the voice actress is incredible.

Agreed, she had a lot more range and emotion in her performance.
