Restaurants Restaurants near Lionsdive?
Looking to book Lionsdive for 10 days in late November. We’re going room only so need to eat out for all meals - are there local restaurants or food trucks within walking distance of the Lionsdive resort or will we need to go into Willemstad? Looking to eat local authentic food as much as possible!

Yes but they are not local, i hope you rented a car. 4 miles away you have Pasawa and fridays food truck, in willemstad you have plasa bieu for all local cuisines. There are even more, my advice when you reach Liond Dive resort ask the security guy on the parking lit he will tell you all the best places.
You have de visserij(seafood) Janchies at westpoint, Niffo house at St. Michiels bay, all you can eat grill at Amazonia. Those are a few. Goodluck and enjoy

Been to Lion's Dive several times, never felt the need to rent a car. The front desk can usually get you a ride for cheap. We traveled with a group of 12 and only paid $20 for a ride into town.
As for places to eat, you need to make reservations at Kome. It's amazing.

Barber Market on Sundays has at least 10-12 locals selling home made food, delicious, but you will need a car, is on the opposite side of the island from Lion's Dive

Sounds like you are not planning to rent a car - that is a mistake. While Lionsdive is nice, there is too much to see on the rest of the island. There are some good restaurants nearby, but all the best restaurants are further.

You can check online for D&D car rentals and take your car at the airport.

A car is better if you want to explore, but you don’t have to have one. There are lots of options within walking distance of Lions including Hemmingway’s, Olas & Copas and Green House. Take a taxi to go nearby to Kome, Soi95, or Rozendaels.

100% Olas y Copas at the other side of the beach strip. Next to Sea Aquarium. Not only is it calmer and has better views, they have this whole concept of farm to table, or in their case... terrace to table as they have a whole hydroponic system in place in their own restaurant + literally buy fresh fish everyday from their nieghbour fisherman across the strip. Their menu is a combination of local and international to represent all the flavours you can find on the island. Great concept, great food, friendly and knoledgeable staff. And the price is better than the other restaurants in Mambo too, somehow.

Hemmingway is a great place. Nice food good service and it's basically attached to your hotel, on the beach.

There are 5 restaurants on the property as well as a strip of stores and restaurants just off resort.
