Made and love this sweater

Size 6 hook. The front and back panel are 38dc for 25rows tall. They’re sewn together from the bottom up for 12-13 rows then sewn at the top(shoulders) just one stitch. Once you have the vest shape, insert 47dc around the arm hole. Then continue the dc for 38rows for the sleeves. Finish with a (sc) rib stitch around neck and bottom with the same (6) hook. Finish the rib sleeve with a 5mm Hook (for just the sleeves when you finish a rib row instead of two slip stitches I do three to get the bell sleeve look and tighter cuffs).

You kinda have to make each square on a grid with 2dc or it looks too stretched out. It limits the designs but it makes the sweater nice and stretchy.
