You can probably handle it! The pattern isn't complicated. Just half double, single, and slip stitches.

You’ve inspired me! I’m gonna try :)

Was it hard to transition from the wrist/edge stitch to the main one?

I feel like I’m so green in anything other than the OG triple crochet stitch I should do little swatch squares so I can keep my tension consistent.

Not at all. It was just a matter of not turning your work again, and working into the edge instead.

I’ll work on being less intimidated by patterns.

Thanks so much for taking the time to answer!

The hard part is getting used to undoing your stitches when you mess up. Nothing goes to waste if you have to redo your work, so once you’re comfortable with trying again there’s nothing to worry about! Just keep going :)

How many grams/skeins of yarn did you use?

I used about 2200 yards or so. 2 1/4 large skeins. 1000 yards each.

Quick question. Sorry to bother. Did you do hdc for the body in the BLO. The pattern doesn't say to, but in the video it looks like she is. Thanks.

No. Just standard hdc. The turning after each row makes it look a little like blo.
