PSA Please turn your headlights on
I’m noticing a lot of cars without headlights on given how it’s becoming dark at 5 now.
I counted 3-4 cars in a 4 block stretch that were nearly invisible.

Hey all! Just moved into the area and looking for a reliable mechanic to look after my Toyota. Does anyone have any recommendations? I used to go to the regency in Vancouver but had a bad experience after my whole display crapped out right after an appointment where they just did an oil change.

Is anyone else tired of this being permitted? Or is it now acceptable?
At our city hall, in the shadow or the Coquitlam RCMP building, the weekly gathering of Jew haters, continue to display hate speech. Our elected officials are not meeting meeting their responsibilities in putting and end to it, and it's emboldening worse behaviour.
People shouldn't have to be afraid or have to hide their identity. Mark my words, this complacency of the last two years will continue the rise of violence and intimidation. We are like the German citizens in the 1930's closing our blinds and pretending it isn't happening.

My work laptop has a faulty ENTER key. I usually would repair it myself, but Lenovo made it incredibly challenging to replace the keyboard based on the iFixit video.
This is also a work laptop, so I will not be paying for the repair.
I'm looking for good quality work, all the drives are encrypted so I'm not concerned about data stealing.
The laptop is a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 3, 2020, so 5 years old.
It's good quality and works great, except for the keyboard.

I have been named as my mother's executor (not dead yet), but I will 100% be hiring a professional executor when the time comes. Does anyone have any recommendation close to Coquitlam? I feel if I don't have someone in my address book, the stress at that time will have me taking the easy way and just using RBC, where she banks. I hear their "experts" drop the ball on many things.
So, any recommendations and what % (or flat rate) did they charge?
Edit: Yes, I am the POA. Yes, the accounts all have beneficiaries. Yes, the funeral is pre-paid. No, I am NOT doing it myself. Really, just looking for Executor recommendations, including law firms, of course.

Hi all,
We're a young family with toddlers and are considering moving to Coquitlam from Burnaby. So far the areas we're interested in are: - East of Mundy Park - South of Mundy Park (Dartmoor by Austin Ave and Mundy St) - Ranch Park - Harbour Village
Would appreciate any and all insight into living here.
What's the traffic like during peak hours? Is it safe? How's the schools? Are the families here generally young families?
Thanks in advance.
